Alastair Barlow, flinder CEO and co-founder, has been re-elected and will continue to serve on the ACCA practice sector panel, bringing a voice for the profession, encouraging practitioners to share their views and feedback on topical issues facing the industry.

The ACCA practice sector is a panel of voluntary contributors and consists of official panel members, co-opted members, observers and ACCA council representatives who come together to provide insight, advice and support to advance ACCA’s strategy in the UK.

Alastair said about his role:

'After many years of supporting ACCA in the UK and globally, this is a continued opportunity to offer input and insight on important issues while creating influence and lending balance to the profession.

I believe this panel has a chance to influence the profession and the wider industry while supporting dynamic businesses, offering the right pace of change for the sector.

The past has served us well, but I’m hugely passionate about the opportunity accountancy has to focus more on data, technology and storytelling to support the profession and fast-growing businesses into the future.’

Alastair has previously been recognised for his work driving the profession to a better place and acting as a catalyst for change by winning ACCA UK Advocate of the Year.
